Today at 12.30 pm I attended the Nutritional luncheon held at
the community room hosted by the Hamilton Aboriginal Health Centre. It was fun hanging out with my fellow tenants
Delores, Marie, Deano, Debbie, Janis, Linda and others. I ate a light snack and played one game of
bingo then I left early because I had to meet a friend from outside the building. When I got back home I decided to see if
there was any coffee left over from the luncheon. I grabbed my coffee cup and when I walked in
the community room Lo & behold! Guess who came out of hiding and sitting at
the table stuffing her face…Yep you guessed right…. it was Ingrid Nosel. I completely
ignored her and walked straight to the coffee machine and helped myself. As I was leaving I noticed she was staring at
me giving dirty looks. And you know what! She can make all the ugly faces she wants because
it’s not going to provoke a reaction from me. She tried that before at the last Christmas gathering yet she ran to the cops whining she's afraid of me. Childish behavior is so
unattractive especially from a woman her age.
On other news I had a chat with a fellow tenant and it looks
like there may not be a Tenant/Swiss Chalet luncheon as planned by the tenant committee. There is opposition from the HSC. Since I’m not a tenant committee member I’m
not getting involved but I know some tenants are disappointed that it may be
cancelled.
After the luncheon I read the UNH's newsletter, I'd describe the newsletter as something you read while on the "throne", it has the usual self praising "We do a good job and Natives can't wait to move in so we can evict them later" :P Meanwhile they have to remind applicants to call the office for updates. :D
To complete their 40 hour Community service student credit UNH's wants Hamilton students to sign up with them...talk about slave labour. :)
It's a shame Valerie Williams has taken a leave of absence..I got good vibes from her.
