As you may recall in a previous post Spencer Waboose was stressed
out to the max due to the eviction notice Koo Gaa Da Win Manitou filed against
him.. Thanks to my blog site he received many comments of support from Social
Media and when I told him this he felt better knowing he’s not alone. I offered
my advice and was willing to walk him to the legal clinic but in the end he
declined and decided to bail out. Fellow
tenant Pete & I were the most supportive to Spencer’s dilemma we didn’t
want to see him on the streets. After checking many options Spencer decided to
move in with his brother at another city. The Waboose family Sandra and Spencer’s brother
were there for him, they sat at the table and worked out a solution and I think
it’s a good one and beside who am I to interfere in other family matters. Spencer asked me if I would help with the
moving and if I could find a helper. Yeah I found one alright :P Fellow tenant Deano who
was too busy goofing off. I had to
remind him “Hey we have a job to do, quit slacking off and laughing at your own jokes” :( Eventually we got the
job done, Spencer packed up his most important belongings and left the other
half behind.
Fellow tenant Pete/Sid had an important role in all this he
was the mover/driver without his help Spencer would have been in a tight spot.
Thanks Pete/Sid
Spencer moved out early yesterday morning, after I loaded up
the trailer I then shook his hand and we said our goodbyes. I’ll probably never see him again and I wish
him luck on this journey we call life.
Due to the moving job I have a sore back and foot but Hey! It’s
worth it knowing a fellow tenant and friend will have a roof over his head. :)
Message to KMHC/HSC – Here is what I see, when you
threaten and issue N7 notices to older vulnerable tenants you cause a lot of
stress & worry to the tenant to the point where they nearly go over the
edge. Spencer was one of them. For a so called Christian you should be ashamed of yourself. :P
As the author of this blog I’d like to thank fellow tenant Pete/Sid without our
compassion and the willing to help a fellow neighbour in distress, Spencer
would have been all alone in this building.
This week Marie moved out and Spencer left the building.
Looks to me that UNH’s pilot project KMHC is failing.
