Official Aboriginal Day 2016

Sneaky Wilimina took this pix of I & two FB friends at City Hall. :) Woke up bright and early on Tuesday morning then looked out my window and notice the tall berry trees in front of the KMHC building need a good trimming.   Feeling energetic I decided to trim them myself if I had to wait for UNH’s to do it hell would freeze over.   Aboriginal day celebrations at Hamilton City Hall were scheduled for 11.30 am and I soon got ready.   When I arrived speeches by local dignitaries were in progress so I quietly joined the crowd in the back.   NDP leader Andrea Horwath was also on the podium when she was done her speech she walked by and said hello to my friend Wilamina who was standing next to me.   I just nod and smiled when Andrea looked my way.   I hope the Feds don’t come after me for saying this.  My Gosh, I was smitten!   In person the NDP leader is a lovely looking woman. :) Native speakers were next on the podium unfortunately ...

Celebration Of Life

Native performers group pix. Yesterday was hectic (Sunday) first off I did an errand for tenant Miss Judy then I showered up and headed over to Gage Park to check out the Aboriginal Pow Wow event.   I was greeted with handshakes and hugs from the people who know me as I toured the grounds.   Kudos to the young native dancers dressed in full outfits. :)  Walking by the UNH’s tent I glanced at the overpriced food menu and got a sneer look from Ingrid Nosel and that’s ok.   It was a pleasure to watch her all sweaty and looking haggard in the 35 degree heat and humidity.   I call it penance for giving birth to criminals. :D  I didn’t hang around Gage Park very long, it was very humid plus I had another event to attend.  What a great Father’s Day present to greet my son at Gage Park doing what he does best…working.    While traveling to my next stop I walked by the UNH’s "money pit" Kennilworth Ave. building.   Holy Shite! ...

Breach Of Trust Conviction

Acting Director talking to the HSC. :D Drat! I missed the article when it came out in the Hamilton Spectator a few months ago but Hey!  Better late showing up to the party then not at all.  UNH’s can thank their H.O.W. for the heads up.   Please read the link below regarding the current UNH’s Acting Director. http://tinyurl.com/z62qtlt   I read the article and like I said in a previous post I don’t care about Christine Lenze’s nefarious past what I’m concerned about can she be trusted today.   I respectfully disagree with Mr. O’Conner’s comment she’s fine and doing a good job. btw he does a great Santa Claus impersonation. :) I’ve had many discussions with fellow tenants in the KMHC building and they’ve shared their strong opinions about this place.  No longer will Native elders be oppressed.     This doesn’t involve me but some KMHC tenants are angrily upset after they recently received a signed letter from Christine Lenze and...

H.O.W. The Cop Caller

Please click the link below for the definition of a cop caller according to the Urban Dictionary.   http://tinyurl.com/gpl8t6q Well folks!   Just as I suspected whenever H.O.W. Lynda Jones is upset she calls the cops over something menial and I am assuming Ingrid Nosel put her up to it.   She did this before in March 2015 and here we go again.   Late Friday afternoon as I’m delivering take out fish and chip dinners to tenant Elder Judy who has a physical disability I met up with two police officers at the building entrance.   I am told last week they received a complaint from H.O.W. Lynda Jones in regard to a small out of focus crappy pix of her sitting on the courtyard bench which I posted in a previous blog four weeks ago.   There was nothing obscene about the pix she wasn’t posing naked in a provocative manner, just a person fully clothed sitting and wearing sunglasses.      The police and I had a short and to the point conversation...

A Week At KMHC

As we approach the end of May I feel like sharing two amusing stories and poke fun at staff in effort to lighten up the joint.   Here’s one for HOW Lynda – how many staff are needed to fetch a glass of water from the water cooler?   Give up!   The answer is two, one person to refill the glass and the other to stand nearby to make sure she does it right. :D     I witness this when I dropped by to say hello to the ladies sewing circle.   Soon I could hear a strange sound like thighs rubbing together sure enough it was the HOW as she enters the room to fetch her water.   Her effort to be inconspicuous failed as I silently observed her walking back to the office. The office announced they are closed early on Friday due to their monthly bedbug spraying the office cubicles and area.   Really!  Bedbugs are a possibility in the office!   Gosh who knew! :P  The only bug I notice has two short legs, chews bubble gum and thinks her shit does...

Attitude Adjustment

Oh Look! A monkey with attitude. :D Since UNH’s head office move to the KMHC building the atmosphere around here has been pleasant.   I’ll sometimes exchange a hello or a wave with head office staff and all is well. :)  Then we come to the Housing Outreach Worker Lynda Jones this woman acts like a total bitch.  This morning I quietly drop off a maintenance work order on the UNH’s receptionist desk counter and H.O.W. Lynda Jones was standing nearby, to my surprise she said in a bitchy tone “You're not supposed to be in the office and any letters delivered under the office door will be sent back to you!”.   I didn’t respond to her words instead I dropped off the letter and left….I’m not going to play her game.   As an alternative Lynda could have said thank you or nothing since the letter wasn't addressed to her.  When it comes to tenant issues I will deliver my request as I see fit or we can go to the landlord and tenant board to resolve the issue....

Ingrid Freaks Out!

Have you ever seen a Housing Service Coordinator freak out in public!  I did just a few hours ago, here's what happened I'm walking towards the KMHC entrance while HSC Ingrid Nosel is leaving the building.   She sees me and starts yelling toward my direction I didn't hear what she was saying because I was listening to rock music on my IPod.  I stop and looked at her while removing my earplugs, I didn’t say a word.   She is furious so furious she lost control she gets into her car then get out then gets back in.   I smiled at her and pointed because she looked so foolish that’s when she freaked out, again gets out of her car and shouts “Good I got you on camera!”   All the while I never approached her or spoke one word, as the automatic door opened I turn, entered the building and walked to my unit.   Her rule is that we don’t speak to each other. Well today after two years she broke her own rule which means the conditions no longer apply.  I’m wel...
