Yesterday I was perturbed I had an important guest arriving from out of town at noon and
wouldn’t you know it the building intercom system is not working. My guest had
to walk back to their car and call me from a cellphone to open the front door.
There is no sign posted at the entrance from the KMHC office informing the tenants the intercom
system is out of order.
1. Uninstall the camera in the
community room, there is absolutely no privacy and tenants don’t feel comfortable which is why KMHC has a low attendance
to their programs, meetings, functions and only a few use the internet plus it’s illegal.
2. The recycling boxes should be relocated to another area of the building. It’s an eyesore every weekend with all the waste piling up. Tenants and their guests shouldn’t have to look at this crap in the hallway. I would suspect this is a Hamilton city by-law infraction.
3. Stop nepotism. Invite all tenants to special events/outings etc. by posting a general notice on the bulletin boards for all to read.
4. UNH’s has to stop treating the Native elders like children. I hear this all the time from my fellow tenants. Past and present.
5. Note to Ingrid the HSC ease up and stop looking for fault with your new staff, they are doing the best they can. Also Fred Flintstone called...he wants his feet back. *joke* :D
I was told the UNH’s Director and the HSC were
conducting a survey from select tenants in regard to KMHC. It’s a good idea
but UNH’s has a problem listening to tenants with strong opinions. Don’t worry
ladies I’m not offended that I was not asked to participate in the survey. :P
At this time I’m going to post my own suggestions on how to
improve KMHC:
