It’s February

A few things happened at KMHC since my last blog.   In regard to the UNH transportation van after a long absence I signed up as a passenger to a recent event held at Native Women Centre.   Driver Rachel George was courteous and there was no inappropriate conversation during the 15 min. trip.   There’s been a lot of talk about the UNH transportation van and what it’s been used for & yet I can’t comment on any monkey business.  The Native Women Centre presentation was informative, interesting and I had the chance to meet new people at the program.  At the end there was a raffle draw and I won a sleeping bag. :)  As part of the transitional process new instructions were posted at the KMHC entrance.   Urban Native Homes Inc. will not accept housing applications.   Application for housing can be obtained by going to the Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services website their office is based in Sault Ste.
