Tenant Meeting November 29, 2013

I decided to attend the latest tenant meeting just to see and hear what UNH’s has to report.  Usually there’s a nice luncheon held for the tenants but this time it was sparse. On the buffet table corn soup was offered that tasted bland, a plate of cheese and fry bread that was cold and hard, juice and coffee. I did enjoy the conversations that went on among my fellow tenants then it was down to business. None of the topics applied to me personally so I sat back and listened to what the staff had to say.   Sharon the office clerk made a statement the KMHC staff keep information confidential. I thought “Are you kidding me!   The staff has the biggest mouths in the organization you can’t tell me they don’t talk among themselves about management and tenants.” A perfect example is Ingrid the HSC telling her husband what's goes on @ KMHC then he sends me messages either to complain or warn me what she's up to.  Lynda Jones the H.O.W. made a speech about the survey th...

Looking For A New Superintendent

There's a tenant notice on the bulletin board It's official, KMHC superintendent Francois Trembley and his wife has got the boot. Fired! Canned! Quit! Out The Door! call it what you will they're gone. Boy! Talk about short term employment.  Oh well I had a feeling he wouldn't last long you gotta remember Ingrid is HSC.  I've seen and heard many former staff members be thrown under the bus by her. Attention! Job Opening @ KMHC  *Apply at your own risk*  $26,000 a year plus a small bachelor converted to a one bedroom. Job requirements: must have stamina, strength and able to bow your head when the senior staff pass by.  I wonder if Jan Porter would be willing to come back!  Naaa what am I thinking. :P  On other news: I received a call from the KMHC office asking if I'm interested in participating in their survey.  Looks like somebody in the organization read my previous blog post. :P  Anyway I immediately called her back and agreed but now af...

As The Walls Fell

Yesterday I was perturbed I had an important guest arriving from out of town at noon and wouldn’t you know it the building intercom system is not working.  My guest had to walk back to their car and call me from a cellphone to open the front door.  There is no sign posted at the entrance from the KMHC office informing the tenants the intercom system is out of order. I was told the UNH’s Director and the HSC were conducting a survey from select tenants in regard to KMHC. It’s a good idea but UNH’s has a problem listening to tenants with strong opinions. Don’t worry ladies I’m not offended that I was not asked to participate in the survey. :P At this time I’m going to post my own suggestions on how to improve KMHC: 1. Uninstall the camera in the community room, there is absolutely no privacy and tenants don’t feel comfortable which is why KMHC has a low attendance to their programs, meetings, functions and only a few use the internet plus it’s illegal. 2. The recycling...
